This is half of the petite harvest of cherries from our cherry tree. It beats last year, the first year for our tree . . . we had one cherry. They are juicy, sweet and homegrown organic. Wonderful.
Also, after weeks of nearly continuous rain, it has been sunny.

I love cherries fresh off the cherry tree! Are yours really tart? (I don't know how many variety of cherry trees there are but I'm assuming most of them are tart cherry trees?)
My husband and I went and visited my parents and we brought back a bunch of cherries from my mom's cherry tree. Needless to say, they did not last long!
