Sunblock STAINS!

OK, for awhile, I thought I was the only one experiencing this phenomenon but I finally looked it up online to see if there are other people who get orange blotchy stains on their clothing as a result of using sunblock. Particularly white and light colored cotton clothing. The orange stains show up in areas where you spray the sunblock, and also smears on your clothing like deodorant can when you put on a shirt -- or foundation. I haven't found anything that takes these stains out to the point where you can wear the clothing. How frustrating!! I have ruined two brand new white shirts! AND NO ONE IS REALLY TALKING ABOUT THIS! I have tried some new elemental sunblocks that I purchased for health reasons (no chemicals) that I think will be ok -- but I don't know for absolute sure yet. Has anyone else experienced this ... and is there anything that takes the stains out?! Over the weekend I discovered: Coppertone STAINS and Neutrogena STAINS. Irritating! (Thanks for listening).
Just what is this stuff doing to my SKIN?

We use Kiss my Face sunblock and so far so good...no stains or anything like that. I wonder which ingredient causes the stains? Also the JASON products are really good too.

I have noticed this too, and the strangest thing is that one of my white shirt was terribly stained around the collar and sleeves, but I wore it outside in the yard one day ("work shirt"), washed it, and then the stains were gone! Of course, I immediately washed othe stained things with the detergent (tide) but they didn't come clean - maybe the exposeure to the sun outside removed something from the equation? Trying hanging stained clothes in bright sunlight - nothing to loose!

I thought it was my washing machine, so I called the repair guy and he told me it was sunblock. Has anybody tried calling the sunblock company?

This is a reaction with iron in the water, typically from well water. I never had this problem until I bought my house, which has high-iron well water, and now I've ruined a bunch of shirts. Some people suggest using Iron-out or another iron removal agent. The only real solution is to get an iron removal system for your house water, and those are expensive.
