Look at this beautiful Orange Bell Pepper. It's the first red or orange pepper I've been able to pick fully ripe. Others I've picked when I've seen a bug hole ... left unpicked, it starts to rot. I'm not sure what bug I have that enjoys peppers, but they didn't get to this one. It's beautiful. I used half of it in fried rice I made for dinner. Yumola. Incidentally, I just received my first box of seed garlic. For my zone, I should plant them in October or November -- just before the ground freezes. I'm giddy with excitement. We plow through tons of garlic.
